A new event for women of the Avon Catholic Community, Advent by Candlelight, will take place on Thursday, November 30 from 6 - 9 p.m. at Tom's Country Place. The evening is designed for women to be renewed and refreshed before entering the Christmas season. Tables are SOLD OUT - Individual Tickets can still be purchased.

The Office for Evangelization invites you to join the Spring Break 2024 Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic. This trip is open to all ages and families are encouraged to attend. The trip will provide ministry to the Dominican people, service work within properties located throughout the area and time for fun and fellowship. I am excited to be serving the parishes of Holy Trinity and St. Mary the Immaculate Conception. Over the past few weeks, I have enjoyed being so warmly welcomed by all of the parishioners, and I'm excited to journey with you all this year.
On Nov. 7, the people of Ohio will have the opportunity to demonstrate how our state views the sacredness of life and the dignity of women. Bishop Edward Malesic is asking Catholics to carefully consider how they will vote on the amendment that will expand and enshrine abortion in Ohio’s constitution.
The annual day of service returns on Sat. Sept. 16 for individuals, families & students to lend a hand. The day begins with prayer at 8:00 a.m. and will conclude at noon with lunch at Holy Trinity. The theme for the day of service is "To know. To Love. To Serve." There are a variety of volunteer options around the community or within the grounds of the parish on that day.
Register now for the book study: The Genesis of Gender. Holy Trinity will serve as one of the host parish sites for the diocesan office of marriage & family services. This four week series will explore the truth, beauty and goodness of being created in the image and likeness of God. It will take place from 7 - 9 p.m. on September 7, 14, 21 and 28. It is $35 to participate and includes book with study materials.

Next weekend we welcome Fr. Deo as he begins his ministry with the Avon Catholic community. Parishioners at both parishes will have Mass celebrated by Fr. Deo and Fr. Hawk throughout the course of the week.
On Sunday, June 11, the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, we will have a Eucharistic Procession at the conclusion of the Noon Mass. We will process through the surrounding neighborhood with a 1.5 mile long procession down Nagel Road to Hawkesbury Court and then back again. There will be rests along the way with water breaks. If the weather is inclement we will remain in church for a prayer hour.
